The incident occurred in the 1500 block of Washington Street West in Charleston, West Virginia, around 1:40 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26. Responding officers learned the victim was being transported to a local hospital in a personal vehicle and later pronounced dead at the facility after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds.
