Baltimore Police are actively seeking the public's assistance in identifying three suspects wanted in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred last week. The investigation centers on a carjacked vehicle involved in a pedestrian crash that resulted in the death of a local resident. On the evening of October 23, around 10:50 p.m., officers responded to a report of a pedestrian-involved crash in the 2600 block of Harford Road, located within the Coldstream Homestead Montebello neighborhood of east Baltimore. Upon arrival, officers discovered 24-year-old Eric Browner, Jr., who was unresponsive. Medical personnel subsequently pronounced him dead at the scene. Preliminary police investigations indicate that a red 2009 Toyota Corolla struck the victim. The occupants of the vehicle fled the scene immediately after the collision. Authorities later determined that the Toyota had been taken earlier that same night during a carjacking incident in the nearby 2400 block of Harford Road. Police have released photographs of three suspects who allegedly exited the stolen Toyota along with another individual and fled the area. The suspects remain at large. Investigators are urging anyone who recognizes the individuals in the photos or has information regarding their whereabouts to come forward. Tips can be directed to Crash Team investigators at 410-396-2606 or Citywide Robbery investigators at 410-366-6341. For those wishing to remain anonymous, tips may be submitted through Metro Crime Stoppers via the P3 mobile application, by calling 1-866-7LOCKUP, or by submitting an online tip through the MCS of Maryland website. Individuals whose tips lead to felony charges and an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $6,000. This case remains an active investigation as law enforcement continues to search for the suspects responsible for the fatal crash and the underlying carjacking.
