Video footage captured by news crews shows a large crowd gathered under party tents before a fight broke out, quickly escalating into gunfire. Investigators have identified 24-year-old Michael Dakernu Dennah as the suspected shooter, who allegedly opened fire during the scuffle, striking Perez and two other men. All three victims survived and were subsequently released from the hospital. Perez stated she remains deeply traumatized by the ordeal and has not returned to the scene. Her attorney, Andy Bederman, confirmed that civil legal action will be filed against the restaurant, alleging serious deficiencies in safety and security planning for the event. Local officials initially sought a 30-day closure of the establishment, but it has since resumed operations.
