White Lake police are actively searching for three individuals wanted in connection with a retail larceny incident that occurred on Tuesday evening, October 27, 2026. The suspects are alleged to have stolen merchandise valued at more than $1,000, including BB guns and clothing, from a business located in the 10000 block of Highland Road. According to officials, the crime was reported at approximately 7:13 p.m. when officers responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered three suspects fleeing the area in a U-Haul van. A police pursuit was initiated as the vehicle traveled west on Highland Road and turned onto southbound Elizabeth Lake Road. However, authorities were forced to terminate the chase due to significant public safety concerns. The pursuit was marked by high rates of speed, heavy traffic congestion, and reckless driving, including an incident where the U-Haul operator struck a no-parking sign. Following the termination of the pursuit, a be-on-the-lookout alert was disseminated to other area law enforcement agencies. The White Lake Police Department has released detailed physical descriptions of the three suspects to assist in their identification and apprehension. The first suspect is described as a white male in his 40s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with an average build, very short light hair or balding, and a small, faded neck tattoo under his right ear. The second suspect is a lighter-toned black male, possibly a teenager, who is 6 feet 2 inches or taller, very gaunt with sunken cheeks, and has a fade-type hairstyle with a curly top and a missing front tooth. The third suspect is a white female, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a lean build, who was wearing black leggings and a white or light gray coat. All three were wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident. The investigating agency is the White Lake Police Department. Residents with information regarding the location of these suspects or the stolen merchandise are urged to contact the department. The identity of the specific business involved has not been publicly released at this time.
