White Lake Township police are actively seeking three suspects wanted in connection with a retail theft that occurred on Tuesday evening. The incident took place just after 7 p.m. in the 10000 block of Highland Road, where the suspects allegedly stole approximately $1,000 worth of merchandise, including Carhartt clothing and BB guns. According to police reports, two men and one woman committed the theft and fled the scene in a U-Haul truck. A responding officer spotted the vehicle and initiated a pursuit eastbound on Elizabeth Lake Road, continuing southbound on Union Lake. During the chase, the suspect vehicle struck a no-parking sign, damaging the passenger side mirror. However, due to high speeds, heavy traffic, reckless driving, and concerns for public safety, the pursuit was discontinued. A Be On the Lookout (BOLO) was subsequently issued to area law enforcement departments. The suspects are described as follows: a white male in his 40s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with short or balding light hair, an average build, and a neck tattoo under his right ear, wearing a dark shirt and pants; a thin Black male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a fade cut, curly hair on top, gaunt cheeks, a missing front tooth, and wearing a black vest over long sleeves; and a white female, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, thin, wearing black leggings and a white or light gray coat. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the location of these suspects or the stolen items to contact the White Lake Township Police Department at (248) 698-4400. The investigation remains ongoing as police continue to search for the individuals involved in this armed robbery-style theft.
