Lakewood police are searching for four masked suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Crown Jewelry. The incident took place just before 4 p.m. at the store located at 3816 Steilacoom Blvd. SW. According to law enforcement, one suspect rang the buzzer to gain entry to the establishment. Once the door was opened, three additional suspects entered behind the first individual. Upon entering, the group proceeded to smash display cases within the jewelry store and stole an unknown amount of merchandise. The suspects attempted to flee the scene in a vehicle; however, because the store’s entrance door is designed to automatically lock upon entry, they were forced to break the glass door and windows to escape. At the time of the incident, the suspects were armed with a long gun and axes. Police have confirmed that no injuries were reported among staff or customers during the robbery. As of the latest update, the identities, ages, and genders of the four individuals remain unknown. They were described as wearing hoodies and masks, which obscured their faces. No description of the getaway vehicle was provided by authorities. The Lakewood Police Department is currently investigating the crime and has not yet taken any suspects into custody. The public is urged to remain vigilant and contact the Lakewood Police Department with any information that may assist in the identification or apprehension of the suspects involved in this violent armed robbery.
