Authorities are searching for two suspects at large following a high-speed police pursuit that unfolded across several Massachusetts communities on Friday. The incident began around 11:20 a.m. in Everett when officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle linked to an ongoing drug investigation. The driver, who was reportedly under electronic monitoring and had outstanding warrants, aggressively evaded capture and fled the scene. During the ensuing chase, the suspect’s vehicle sideswiped a Massachusetts State Police cruiser in Malden, though the trooper inside escaped without serious injury. The pursuit intensified as multiple law enforcement agencies coordinated their efforts, but the vehicle continued to evade capture, eventually colliding with an unmarked cruiser and nearly striking a uniformed officer. The chase concluded on Lindenwood Road in Stoneham, where the vehicle was found abandoned. Both the driver and a passenger subsequently fled on foot. Despite an extensive search operation that deployed K-9 units and aerial surveillance from a police helicopter, no arrests were made by Friday night.
