According to the King County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 10200 block of 10th Avenue SW around 11:46 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. Investigators confirmed that at least three shots were fired toward a victim, though it remains unclear whether the individual was the intended target. Fortunately, no one was struck by gunfire. Law enforcement noted that the victim and the suspect are known to each other. Despite an extensive search operation that included a police canine unit, aerial drone surveillance, and a secured perimeter, the suspect has not been located and remains at large. As of early afternoon, officials had identified the individual but declined to release a name or physical description. The King County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from precinct deputies and agencies in Burien and SeaTac, continues to investigate the scene and canvass the area for additional evidence.
