Atlanta police are actively searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred earlier this year. The alleged crime involves a man who opened fire on a 16-year-old victim near Spelman College. The incident took place in March on Greensferry Avenue SW, where officers discovered the teenager suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was subsequently rushed to the hospital, though authorities have not provided updates regarding his current medical condition. The shooting prompted a safety alert for students due to the location's proximity to the Spelman College campus. Investigators have released video footage showing a masked individual in the breezeway of an apartment complex believed to be the suspect. Additionally, police are seeking information regarding a dark-colored Dodge Challenger that is believed to have been involved in the crime. Authorities are urging the public to assist in the manhunt. Anyone with information regarding the suspect, the vehicle, or anyone associated with them is asked to contact the Atlanta Crime Stoppers tip line at 404-577-8477. The investigation remains ongoing as police continue to gather evidence and identify the individual responsible for the attack.
