The individual is described as a Black man who was observed wearing all-black clothing and a ski mask during the incidents. Investigators report that the suspect consistently used a sledgehammer to forcibly breach structures, either smashing through exterior walls or doors to gain entry. During each break-in, only cash was taken by the perpetrator. The first reported incidents occurred on April 25, 2026, within the 7000 block of Birmingport Road. Subsequent crimes were documented on May 5 in the 1000 block of Eastern Valley Road, followed by two additional break-ins on May 7 along Warrior River Road. Deputies have also indicated that the same suspect may have targeted a commercial establishment in the nearby Adamsville area, utilizing identical methods. The investigation remains ongoing as law enforcement reviews forensic evidence and canvasses the affected neighborhoods.
