Dallas police are actively seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a Black male suspect, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing between 170 and 180 pounds, who remains at large following an armed robbery. The individual is accused of entering a local convenience store, waiting until the location was empty, and then displaying a handgun to threaten a clerk. Following the intimidation, the suspect demanded and took the entire cash register drawer before fleeing eastbound on foot along 8th Street. The robbery took place on January 13 at approximately 10:30 p.m. at the 7-Eleven situated at 302 North Marsalis Avenue in Dallas. Clear surveillance video captured the suspect’s movements before and after the incident, but investigators have stated that all internal leads have been exhausted. Authorities are now relying on community recognition to identify the man in the footage. Detectives note that anyone who knows the suspect will likely be able to confirm his identity from the available screenshots. The public is encouraged to reach out with any relevant information.
