During the exchange, the suspects allegedly seized the merchandise and opened fire. One of the victims returned fire before the suspects fled the scene. Emergency responders arrived to find a 20-year-old man suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds, who was transported to a nearby hospital. A second man was also struck by gunfire but sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
