The suspect is wanted for an armed robbery that took place just before 4 a.m. on May 7, 2026, at the Quality Inn, located at 900 N. Yarbrough Drive near Gateway East Boulevard and Bel Air High School on the East Side of El Paso. According to officials, the individual rushed the motel front desk, vaulted over the counter, brandished a knife to threaten the clerk, and forcibly took money from the cash register. He is believed to have escaped the scene driving a red SUV along Gateway East. Law enforcement describes the suspect as wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt pulled over his head, a black facemask, black gloves, dark trousers, and brown footwear.
