Phenix City Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting at the Colonial Inn hotel on May 11, 2026. Harvey Lee Walker was found dead in a hotel room with an apparent gunshot wound. Three individuals have been identified in connection with the case: Tionne Carreker, arrested in Junction City, Georgia, and charged with Capital Murder; LaVincent Harris, arrested and charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence and Marijuana Possession; and Tisha Gibson, who remains at large with an active Capital Murder warrant. Authorities confirm Gibson is actively being sought. The incident occurred at 905 Highway 280 Bypass in Phenix City.
