Boston police are searching for two juvenile suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery that targeted two young children operating a neighborhood lemonade stand. The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon, June 11, at approximately 4:44 p.m. on West Ninth Street near E Street in South Boston. According to police reports, the victims, an 11-year-old and 12-year-old sibling pair, were managing their stand when two Black male juveniles, estimated to be 14 and 11 years old, approached the location. The suspects, both wearing black balaclavas, inquired about digital payment options before one grabbed a cashbox containing roughly $50 in cash. As the pair attempted to flee on foot toward Dorchester Street, one suspect displayed a black firearm from his waistband. A neighbor later observed the suspects with the cashbox on Grimes Street, prompting them to drop the container, retrieve the money, and escape. The empty cashbox was recovered nearby, but the funds were not. No physical injuries were reported, though authorities note the significant psychological distress caused to the young victims. Boston police have released surveillance footage and suspect images, and detectives are actively reviewing camera footage from the area.
