Toledo police have identified Ka Nye Taylor as a suspect in a June 6 shooting near the Old West End Festival that left 12 people injured. Taylor, described as a Black male approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing around 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, is currently wanted on 11 counts of felonious assault. Authorities confirm that a manhunt is actively underway for Taylor, as well as for a second suspected gunman who remains at large and has not been publicly identified. The incident occurred around 5:37 p.m. near the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Glenwood Avenue, close to the festival grounds. Responding officers discovered multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds, with ages ranging from 14 to 61, though all remain in stable condition. Investigators believe the gunfire erupted during a foot chase and altercation between two rival groups, suggesting the suspects may have been exchanging fire. Deputy Chief Joseph Heffernan noted that at least two shooters were involved in the exchange. Law enforcement officials are urging the public to assist in locating the suspects. Crime Stoppers is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, with an additional $5,000 reward provided by the U.S. Marshals Service.
