The incident took place on the morning of June 12, 2026, at approximately 10:35 a.m. on Kamehameha IV Road. According to police reports, the victim, identified as a 54-year-old man, was working at a residence when the suspect approached him. The suspect brandished a handgun, demanded personal property, and threatened to shoot the victim. The 54-year-old complied with the demands, and the suspect subsequently fled the scene on a black electric bicycle. The victim was not injured during the encounter. The suspect is described as a male, approximately six feet tall with a slim build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and a black ski mask.
