The incident occurred early Friday morning, June 12, 2026, at approximately 3:32 a.m. According to reports from Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, the suspect entered the convenience store and demanded all cash from the register while brandishing a black handgun. Video footage from the scene captures deputy vehicles parked outside the gas station and a helicopter conducting aerial surveillance as officers responded to the active crime scene. The suspect is described as a Black male with a slim or athletic build, standing between 6 and 6.5 feet tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black hoodie featuring an emblem on the back of the shoulder.
