The Lebanon Police Department is actively searching for a suspect following an attempted armed robbery at Winfrey’s Jewelry, located on West Main Street in Lebanon, Tennessee. The incident occurred on Friday morning, June 12, 2026, at approximately 9:45 a.m. According to police reports, the suspect entered the jewelry store, brandished a firearm, and assaulted an employee before forcing staff members into a back room. The situation escalated when the suspect encountered an armed employee, prompting him to flee the scene. He escaped in a white four-door Infiniti sedan.

The suspect is described as a tall, slender Black male. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black hat, a dark jacket, and a light-colored plaid shirt. Law enforcement officials have classified the individual as armed and dangerous, urging the public not to approach him under any circumstances. If anyone spots the suspect or the vehicle, they are instructed to call 911 immediately.

Detectives are currently reviewing additional images and information to aid in the identification and capture of the individual. The Lebanon Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the suspect to come forward.
