Wilmington Police are actively searching for a suspect accused of a fatal shooting that occurred inside Wilmington Hospital on Tuesday afternoon. The incident, which began around 3:30 p.m., resulted in the death of one person and left another individual wounded. According to Police Chief Wilfredo Campos, law enforcement sources indicate that the shooter is a hospital employee who targeted two other employees. The identities of the victims have not yet been released to the public. Upon arrival, officers discovered two gunshot victims at the scene, which is operated by ChristianaCare. A temporary lockdown at the facility has since been lifted. Authorities are currently working to confirm the identity of the suspect and locate him, as he remains at large.
