Jefferson is currently wanted for theft by fraud following an incident that occurred on June 3, 2026. According to investigators, the suspect targeted an elderly victim in the 1000 block of Horace Street in New Orleans. Jefferson allegedly impersonated a contractor to gain the victim's trust, received payment for services, and subsequently failed to perform the work for which he was paid. A warrant for his arrest has been filed with the court. Authorities emphasize that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
