Tariq Kamal Rasheed, a 34-year-old male, remains at large and is wanted by law enforcement following a violent incident and subsequent high-speed pursuit in Northern Virginia. Rasheed is accused of multiple serious offenses, including felony eluding, malicious wounding, robbery, abduction, two counts of child neglect, domestic assault and battery, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and reckless driving. The alleged crimes began shortly before 10 p.m. on Monday, June 15, in the 14900 block of Feeder Lane in Woodbridge, Virginia. Police responded to a domestic disturbance where a 34-year-old woman was assaulted, abducted, and robbed. The victim sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Rasheed was identified as the suspect, and multiple arrest warrants were issued. Hours later, at approximately 5:38 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, officers located Rasheed in the parking lot of the hospital where the victim was being treated. He was found behind the wheel of a blue Nissan Rogue and appeared to be threatening to enter the building. When officers attempted a traffic stop, Rasheed fled the scene, initiating a chase that proceeded onto I-95 North. During the pursuit, Rasheed struck a Jersey barrier before continuing into Fairfax County and exiting onto Fullerton Road in Springfield. The chase was eventually called off due to safety concerns, though surrounding law enforcement agencies were alerted to continue the search. As of the time of this report, Rasheed has not been located. The Prince William County Police Department is actively seeking information regarding his whereabouts. Anyone with information is urged to contact the department immediately.
