James III, a man with a violent criminal history, is wanted by Shreveport Police Department after allegedly firing multiple rounds outside his ex-girlfriend’s apartment early Saturday morning, May 10. Officers responded to a shots-fired call at an apartment complex around 4:40 a.m., where the victim reported James arrived unannounced, banged on her door, and then shot into the area. Investigators found shell casings, bullet holes in the victim’s vehicle, and damage to the apartment’s second floor and front door. The victim stated her relationship with James ended in March 2026. James faces charges of illegal use of weapons, and a warrant has been issued with no bond. Authorities describe him as armed and dangerous.
