Tariq Kamal Rasheed, a 34-year-old Black male approximately 6’0” tall and weighing 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, remains at large following a violent incident in Woodbridge, Virginia. On the evening of June 15, Rasheed was involved in a domestic dispute that escalated into an alleged abduction, assault, and robbery of a 34-year-old woman, who sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital. Following the incident, officers located Rasheed in a hospital parking lot on the morning of June 16. He refused to stop for police, initiating a high-speed vehicle pursuit onto I-95 North. The chase ended when his blue Nissan Rogue struck a jersey barrier and exited onto Fullerton Road in Springfield, at which point authorities terminated the pursuit due to safety concerns. Rasheed is wanted on multiple charges, including felony eluding, malicious wounding, robbery, abduction, child neglect, domestic assault and battery, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and reckless driving.
