The suspect is described as a Black male, estimated to be between the ages of a teenager and a young adult, standing between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing between 140 and 170 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie and black sweats. Eyewitnesses and the clerk indicated the suspect fled on foot after the alarm was triggered. Officers, including K-9 units, immediately pursued the suspect northbound, but the tracking scent was eventually lost.
