Police are searching for 22-year-old Oscar Sanchez-Munoz, who remains at large following a series of shootings along Interstate 70 and Interstate 670 in the Kansas City area. The incident occurred Tuesday evening around 6 p.m., involving a vehicle that fired shots at multiple cars within a 30-minute window. Five individuals were struck, including an Uber driver transporting passengers to a World Cup match. The victims, comprising three adults and one teenager, were transported to local hospitals; conditions range from stable to life-threatening. Sanchez-Munoz is also suspected of involvement in a deadly shooting and crash at Truman Road and Bennington Avenue earlier that evening. Detectives traced the suspect to a residence in Independence, Missouri, where an overnight standoff ensued before the home caught fire. Authorities have identified Sanchez-Munoz as the primary suspect, noting he has a prior $100,000 bond for aggravated assault in Wyandotte County, Kansas.
