Lenzy Ward, a 23-year-old Milwaukee resident, is currently at large and wanted by authorities following an incident in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Ward is charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide and hit-and-run involving great bodily harm. The alleged crime occurred on Saturday, June 13, on St. Thomas Drive near Shady Lane Elementary School. According to court records and witness statements, Ward was involved in a verbal argument with his father while playing basketball. The dispute escalated, leading Ward to enter his girlfriend's vehicle. Witnesses reported that Ward drove away, turned around, and intentionally sped toward his father at speeds estimated between 40 and 50 mph, striking him with the vehicle before fleeing the scene. The victim sustained severe injuries, including extensive head trauma with a brain bleed, facial structural damage, two broken legs, and broken ribs. A neighbor, Samantha Porter, described the victim as struggling to breathe after the impact. Police located the suspect's Ford, which sustained significant front-end damage including a smashed windshield, but Ward remained at large. An arrest warrant for Ward was issued on Tuesday, June 16. The Waukesha County District Attorney's Office has confirmed the charges. Investigators are appealing to the public for assistance in locating the suspect.
