Federal and local authorities are urgently seeking 22-year-old Oscar Sanchez-Munoz, who remains at large following a series of violent incidents in the Kansas City, Missouri, area. Sanchez-Munoz is wanted in connection with a shooting spree that resulted in the death of 43-year-old Jeremy Keenan. The fatal incident occurred Tuesday night around 6:30 p.m. when first responders were dispatched to a vehicle crash near East Truman Road and Bennington Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Keenan inside a flipped Dodge Ram pickup that had struck a utility pole. Although paramedics transported Keenan to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced deceased after medical personnel determined he had been shot. Homicide detectives linked this shooting to four other shootings that occurred during the same timeframe, all attributed to the same suspect. Despite two standoffs in the days following the initial crimes, Sanchez-Munoz has evaded capture and remains on the run as of Friday afternoon. The FBI has identified Sanchez-Munoz as a suspect in Wyandotte County and is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
