New York City police are searching for an unidentified gunman who opened fire inside the Brooklyn Monarch event venue in East Williamsburg on Friday, June 19. Two men were struck by rounds; a 33-year-old victim sustained a thigh wound, while an unidentified second man suffered injuries to his left arm, hip, and buttocks. Both victims managed to walk to Woodhull Hospital on their own and are currently listed in stable condition with expectations of survival. The suspect fled the scene on foot and was last seen wearing a black shirt featuring a shark graphic. As of this report, no arrests have been made, leaving the man at large.
