Investigators in the Midlands are currently searching for Rayshon Jamaal Foster, a suspect described as armed and dangerous. The incident occurred around 6 PM on Saturday at a business located on Broad Street. According to police reports, Foster entered the establishment and struck a man with a pistol while the victim held a two-year-old child. During the assault, the suspect also physically hit the young child before driving away prior to the arrival of officers. As of Sunday evening, Foster remains at large. He has been charged with assault and weapons violations related to the weekend attack. The Sumter Police Department is leading the search for the fugitive. Authorities urge the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings to the department immediately.
