Atlanta police are actively searching for a man accused of committing an armed robbery and assault at a Boost Mobile store in southwest Atlanta. The incident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. on June 17, 2026, at the business located at 1825 Delowe Drive SW. According to the Atlanta Police Department, the suspect initially entered the store carrying a dark-colored suitcase but left and subsequently returned armed with a kitchen knife. Upon his return, the suspect robbed the clerk of cash and physically assaulted her. He bound the victim's hands and feet before stealing approximately $6,200 worth of phones and tablets. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived on the scene. Surveillance footage captured the suspect walking toward Campbellton Road following the robbery. Police have released images of the suspect from surveillance footage to aid in the identification and apprehension. The suspect is described as wearing a white ski mask, a white T-shirt, blue jeans, a light blue denim jacket, and black shoes. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect's whereabouts or identity to contact the Atlanta Police Department. The investigation is ongoing as law enforcement continues to review evidence and canvass the area for additional witnesses.
