The incident occurred at approximately 12:43 p.m. at the West Coast Community Bank, located on Bay Avenue. According to law enforcement reports, the individual entered the financial institution, demanded money, and subsequently fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Investigators confirmed that no weapon was displayed during the robbery and that no injuries were reported to any staff or patrons. Despite the prompt arrival of officers at the scene, the suspect was not located. He was last seen on foot, running toward Bay Avenue. The suspect is described as a male between the ages of 55 and 65, standing between 5 feet and 5 feet 5 inches tall. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a distinctive white bob-style wig, a black puffy vest, a light-colored long-sleeve shirt, and dark-colored pants. He was also carrying a black purse. Authorities have stated there are no known ongoing threats to the public. The bank displayed a sign in its front window indicating closure due to an emergency, with plans to reopen as soon as possible. Detectives are continuing to work the case and develop new leads.
