Jackson Police are searching for an unidentified suspect wanted in connection with a triple homicide that occurred in Jackson, Mississippi. Responding to a report of a shooting, officers discovered three victims inside a residence: a 26-year-old woman, a 30-year-old woman, and a 2-year-old toddler. Jackson Police Chief RaShall Brackney condemned the killings as a horrifying and vile crime, emphasizing the cowardly nature of attacking a defenseless child. A witness, Malik Mayberry, reported seeing a vehicle leaving the scene shortly before police arrived. On Sunday afternoon, investigators located a red 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage belonging to one of the victims in Manhattan Park in north Jackson. The vehicle was recovered unoccupied and is being processed for evidence. Police have not yet identified or apprehended the suspect and are urging the public to assist in the ongoing investigation.
