Vincent Louie Herrera, 38, and Vanessa Herrera, 33, both residents of Belgrade, Montana, have been identified as suspects in a Father's Day shooting that occurred on Woodman Drive in the River Rock neighborhood. The incident took place on the afternoon of Sunday, June 21, 2026, when the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the primary suspect had already fled the residence, while the victim had been shot multiple times. The victim, whose name is currently withheld, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Bozeman Deaconess Regional Medical Center for treatment before being released. An arrest warrant has been issued for Vincent Louie Herrera for Attempted Deliberate Homicide, while a separate warrant has been secured for Vanessa Herrera for Obstructing Justice. According to the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office, both individuals appear to have fled the state, though authorities confirm there is no active threat to the community as this was an isolated incident. The shooting also resulted in damage to multiple homes and vehicles in the area. The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office is actively coordinating with local, state, and federal partners to locate and apprehend the suspects. The investigation remains ongoing.
