The NYPD’s 110th Precinct and Transit District 20 are searching for an unidentified bald man who allegedly stabbed a woman on a northbound E train in Jackson Heights. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon, around 2:20 p.m., at the Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street transit hub. According to police, the 31-year-old victim was onboard the train when a verbal dispute escalated into violence. The perpetrator pulled out a knife and stabbed the woman in her neck and hand before fleeing the scene. The victim ran off the train and out of the station onto Broadway. She was transported by EMS to Elmhurst Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition. Detectives have not yet determined the cause of the argument, as the victim did not provide details. The suspect is described as a bald man with a light complexion, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall. No specific clothing description has been released.
