The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking a hit-and-run driver who struck a woman on Hog Mountain Road in Flowery Branch, Georgia. The incident occurred Wednesday night, around 9:30 p.m., when Latifah Aqueelah Woods, 34, was walking south on the northbound shoulder of Hog Mountain Road near Oakfern Trail. According to Sheriff’s Office spokesman Derrick Booth, a northbound pickup truck rounded a curve, left the roadway, and struck Woods on the right side of her body, throwing her to the ground. Woods, who sustained visible but non-life-threatening injuries, called a friend to pick her up and transport her to a local hospital. The suspect vehicle is described as a black, newer model four-door pickup truck. Detectives recently developed leads in their search for the motorist, and the case has been assigned to the HCSO Accident Investigation Unit.
