Jackson Police are searching for an at-large suspect following a triple homicide that occurred on June 27, 2026, inside a residence on Queen Alexandria Lane in the 300 block of the street. The victims, identified by Hinds County Coroner Jeramiah Howard, are 25-year-old Keyana Weathersby, her 2-year-old son Camari Givens, and 30-year-old Erica Weathersby. All three were fatally shot multiple times. Keyana Weathersby suffered multiple gunshots to the head, while her son Camari sustained injuries to the head, face, and arm. Erica Weathersby was hit in the head, upper torso, and extremities. The toddler was found defenseless in a bed. Authorities responded to a call regarding aggravated assault around 10 p.m. on June 27 and found the three victims suffering from gunshot wounds; all were pronounced dead at the scene. Police Chief RaShall Brackney described the incident as a heinous crime committed by an absolute coward. Investigators initially sought a 2020 red Mitsubishi Mirage with license plate HSI-205, which was recovered unoccupied at Manhattan Park in North Jackson on June 28. As of June 29, the suspect remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous. No identity or motive has been released. Jackson Mayor John Horhn and Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones issued statements condemning the violence.
