The Austin Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying three suspects wanted for a violent robbery that occurred at a local convenience store. The incident took place around 2:50 a.m. on May 31 at the 7-Eleven located at 411 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., near the University of Texas campus. According to police reports, three suspects entered the store and stole alcohol. When a store clerk intervened to stop them, the employee was violently tackled, resulting in significant injuries. The robbery unit has released photographs and detailed descriptions of the three individuals to aid in their capture. The first suspect is described as a white male with a medium build, believed to be between 18 and 25 years old. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with the word 'Gutwrench,' a chain necklace, and a wallet chain attached to his right pants pocket. The second suspect is a Hispanic male with a husky build, also believed to be between 18 and 25 years old, who has a distinctive tattoo on his right forearm. The third suspect is described as either white or Hispanic with a thin build, and is similarly believed to be in the 18 to 25 age range.
