Amherst County officials are currently seeking the identity of an alleged robbery suspect following an incident at a local convenience store. According to the Amherst County Sheriff's Office, the robbery occurred on Saturday, June 27, around 8:30 p.m. The suspect entered the Quik-E store located near South Coolwell Road in Madison Heights and demanded money from the clerk before exiting the premises. The suspect is described as being approximately 5 feet to 5 feet 6 inches tall and was wearing black clothing along with a black face mask at the time of the incident. Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity or whereabouts to come forward. Those with tips can contact Investigator J.
