Amherst County officials are currently seeking the identity of an alleged robbery suspect following an incident at a local convenience store. According to the Amherst County Sheriff's Office, the robbery occurred on Saturday, June 27, around 8:30 p.m. The suspect entered the Quik-E store located near South Coolwell Road in Madison Heights and demanded money from the clerk before exiting the premises. The suspect is described as being approximately 5 feet to 5 feet 6 inches tall and was wearing black clothing along with a black face mask at the time of the incident.
